After qualification, he worked in the United Kingdom, where he initially worked in a general practice, and then with a law firm representing insurance companies and provided advice on investigating and defending fraudulent insurance claims.

- He holds a diploma in International Trust Management from the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) which covered all aspects of Trust and Company management as well as investment and management of trust funds, International Tax, Anti-money-laundering and Compliance.
- He has also headed up a trust department of a local law firm and, separately, also acted as a director of another trust and company provider.
